1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They can be used to remember preferences, measure visits or show advertisements.
2. Which cookies we use
Analytical cookies (only with your consent)
We use Google Analytics to see how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, for how long and by which route. This allows us to improve the site. These cookies are only placed after you have clicked "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you click "Decline", Google Analytics is not loaded.
- _ga: distinguishes visitors from one another. Retention period: 2 years.
- _ga_<ID>: remembers the status of your session. Retention period: 2 years.
We have configured Google Analytics to be as privacy-friendly as possible: IP addresses are not stored, sharing data with Google for other purposes is switched off, Google Signals is switched off and no advertising data is linked.
Remembering your choice
We store your choice in the cookie banner locally in your browser (dsc-cookie-consent), so that we do not ask you again on every visit. After 12 months we ask again. This is technically necessary and does not require consent.
No marketing cookies
We do not use marketing or advertising cookies, no Facebook pixel and no LinkedIn Insight Tag. The conversation with Henk is not stored in a cookie. If you close the page, the conversation is gone.
3. Third-party services
Some parts make use of third-party services:
- Google Analytics: measures use of the site, only after your consent (see above).
- Netlify: hosts the website and may process technically necessary data for security reasons.
- Google Fonts: supplies the typefaces. No cookies are placed in the process, but your IP address is passed on to Google.
- Calendly, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and other external sites: if you click a link to such a service, that party's cookie policy applies from that moment on.
4. Changing your choice
You can always withdraw your consent or give it after all via Cookie settings, which can also be found at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, we delete the Google Analytics cookies. In addition, you can always view and delete cookies via your browser settings.
5. Changes
If we start using other cookies, we will amend this statement and, where necessary, first ask for your consent again.
