Why now

Your customer decides before your salesperson calls.

Buyers search, compare and ask AI for advice. Only then do they get in touch. If your sales is still organised the way it was ten years ago, you arrive too late, or not at all.

94%of B2B buying groups had already ranked their preferred vendors before first contact.
61%of the buying process was already complete when buyers reached out themselves.

Three eras

From pitching, via marketing, to diagnosis.

Most companies are still in the middle era. That is where the problem lies.

1990s to early 2000s

Sales was in charge

  • Buying leads
  • Pitching and presenting
  • Following up until yes or no

The salesperson was the source of information. The buyer needed them.

Around 2005 to 2025

Marketing took the wheel

  • Content, campaigns and activities
  • Buying leads and meetings
  • Sales kept pitching as always

Most of the money went to marketing. Hardly anything was invested in new sales techniques.

From 2026

A sales organisation that diagnoses

  • Demand generation to your own landing page
  • Henk welcomes and qualifies, day and night
  • Selling with Diagnostic Selling

Marketing supports sales again. Sales first establishes why a customer does or does not decide.

What changed

The marketing mode is delivering less and less.

For years it worked like this: publish content, build authority, attract visitors, collect leads, turn them into customers. That story holds up less and less.

Search engines and AI assistants now give the answer themselves, without anyone opening your article. Organic reach on social media is limited. And the buyer who does come to you has usually made their shortlist already.

The result: companies pay more for activity while revenue does not grow with it. Not because marketing is bad, but because marketing was given a role that really belongs to sales.

Where it is heading

This is how we do it: a sales organisation built around the customer's decision.

Not a single tool and not a campaign. A chain in which every link feeds the next.

  1. Demand generationMarketing draws the right people to your own landing page. That is the core of its role again: supporting sales.
  2. Landing pageYour own environment, not a platform's. That is where the conversation starts and where the data stays.
  3. HenkAn AI adviser who welcomes visitors, diagnoses their question and qualifies them. Day and night.
  4. Digital Sales ConsultantSells with Diagnostic Selling: first establishing whether Stake, Trust and Urgency are present, and only then a proposal.
  5. Process and dataEvery step is visible, so you can see where customers drop off and where to adjust.

What it looks like in practice

Dealer Finance: the first sales organisation we are building for someone else.

A finance platform for car dealers that depended on social media campaigns and external agencies for new customers. Exactly the marketing mode described above. We are building its own chain: from demand generation and its own landing environment, via Henk and qualification, to the salesperson. Sales Manager Ruud Kox is responsible for the build. That infrastructure will be owned by Dealer Finance.

Be aware

A meeting is not a deal.

Many marketing agencies have jumped into this gap. They now offer "agentic sales" and promise deals. What they deliver is a meeting. That is something else.

A meeting

A conversation with a potential customer. Interest, perhaps a need. The selling still has to begin.

A deal

A completed sales process, with a signed assignment or contract at the end. Only then is there revenue.

Henk delivers meetings too, and we say so openly. The difference is what happens next: we also build the part that turns a meeting into a deal.

What to expect

This is a journey, not a campaign.

Most companies have organised themselves around marketing for years. You do not rebuild that in two days. You set up demand generation, your own landing environment, Henk as the first line and salespeople who work with Diagnostic Selling.

Allow at least three months before you see structural results. What you then have is not a one-off campaign but a sales organisation that stays yours.
