2. What data we process
Data you provide yourself
Through the quick scan on the Hire a Digital Sales Consultant page and the admission quiz on the Become a Digital Sales Consultant page, we ask for:
- name, email address and telephone number;
- company name (quick scan) or LinkedIn profile (admission quiz, optional);
- your answers to the questions and any explanation or motivation you add.
Conversations with Henk
If you ask Henk, our AI adviser, a question, we process the text you type in order to provide an answer. Do not enter any sensitive personal data in the chat. We do not ask for your name or contact details in the chat. If you close the page, the conversation disappears from your browser.
Technical data
Our hosting provider records technical data that is needed to make the website work and to secure it, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit.
Website visits (Google Analytics)
If you give consent in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to measure how you use the site: which pages you view, for how long, by which route you arrive and with which type of device. IP addresses are not stored in the process. If you do not give consent, we do not collect this data.
3. Why we process your data
- to assess your request or application and to contact you;
- to answer your question to Henk;
- to prepare or perform a contract with you;
- to keep the website secure and working;
- to measure how the website is used and to improve it (only with your consent);
- to comply with legal obligations, such as the statutory tax retention obligation.
We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Legal bases
We process your data on the basis of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Depending on the situation, the legal basis is:
- consent, when you fill in and submit a form, or agree to Google Analytics in the cookie banner;
- performance of a contract, or steps you yourself request before a contract is entered into;
- legitimate interest, to respond to your business request and to secure the website;
- legal obligation, where the law requires us to retain data.
5. How long we retain data
- Requests and applications that do not lead to a collaboration: up to 2 years after the last contact.
- Data of clients and business partners: 7 years, because of the statutory tax retention obligation.
- Data from Google Analytics: 14 months.
You can always ask for erasure sooner, see article 7.
6. Parties that process data on our behalf
We work with the following service providers. They process data only for the purposes set out above.
- Netlify: hosting of the website and processing of the forms.
- Anthropic: the AI model behind Henk. The text you send to Henk is transmitted to Anthropic to generate an answer.
- Google Analytics: measures use of the website, only after your consent. Google Signals, advertising links and sharing data with Google for its own purposes are switched off.
- Google Fonts: the website's typefaces. Your browser retrieves them from Google, in the course of which your IP address is passed on.
- Calendly: if you book an appointment through the site, this takes place on Calendly's platform.
- WhatsApp: if you contact us via WhatsApp, that contact runs through WhatsApp.
Some of these parties are established outside the European Economic Area. In that case, transfers take place on the basis of the safeguards provided for by the GDPR, such as the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access your data and to have it corrected or erased. You can object to the processing, have the processing restricted, have your data transferred and withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, send an email to greg@digitalsalesconsultant.ai. We will respond within one month.
Do you disagree with how we handle your data? Then you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. The website can only be accessed via a secure connection (HTTPS).
9. Cookies
We only place analytical cookies from Google Analytics, and only after your consent. You can always change your choice via Cookie settings. Read more in our cookie statement.
10. Changes
We may amend this privacy statement. The date at the top always indicates the latest version.
